The Lavender Family Reunion is a celebration of generations of Lavender's, whose ancestors originated from the Mantua Community of Greene County
and migrated to different cities of Alabama such as Eutaw, Aliceville, Carrollton, Tuscaloosa, Buhl, Birmingham, Escambia, Birmingham and then onto
states and major cities such as Monroe & Winnsboro, Louisiana, Marshalltown, Iowa, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, New York, Atlanta, Memphis,
Washington D.C., and Los Angeles.  Today members of the family travel from miles around to celebrate the Bi annual reunion with family, friends and
loved ones.

Your Atlanta family considers it a privilege to host the 2016 Lavender Family Reunion.  The Reunion dates are June 30th – July 3rd, four nights and
five days of family, fellowship, and fun!  The theme for the Reunion is “Keeping Our Family Unified”, Atlanta is a vibrant, international city, with a
strong civil rights history.  It is our pleasure to highlight some of the city’s greatest treasures, ranging from the Martin Luther King, Jr. National
Historic Site Georgia Aquarium, World of Coca Cola, Inside CNN Studio Tour, High Museum of Art/Fern Museum of Natural History or Zoo
Atlanta/Atlanta History Centernto Centennial Olympic Park.  In addition, we will present the urban culture that thrives throughout Atlanta.

The Atlanta reunion planning committee has been working feverishly to ensure this year’s reunion will be rich in culture and history.  It will also be
lots of fun!  Please use this website to plan and register for the events. I hope the information included on this site is helpful in building out your
